Meet the Hosts

Mike McCarty is the CEO and Founder of Ministry Defender Solutions and SafeHiring Solutions as well as a former violent crime detective with 25+ years of violence prevention experience. He has consulted with the U.S. Department of Justice, the Department of Defense, and Homeland Security. Mike helped design and implement what became the largest community-based domestic violence program in the U.S., which resulted in a 50% reduction in homicides.

Melinda Ronn, Director of Communications, has more than 30 years of experience working with churches and ministries in the U.S., providing local and national outreach partnerships, communication expertise, and public relations. Melinda also worked with the George W. Bush White House alongside the Office of Public Liaison in their outreach to churches and ministries.
